Braces
Traditional braces offer many benefits. This treatment is most cost effective and provides many options such as metal braces, clear braces, and self-litigating braces. Each type comes with it’s own advantages. Find the one that suits you or your child.
Metal Braces
Still the most common type, metal braces are made of high-grade stainless steel. They are also available in Gold color. With metal braces, you have the option of adding colored elastics (‘o-ties’) for a more unique and colorful smile.
Clear/Ceramic Braces
Clear braces offer an aesthetic alternative to our patients. They are nearly invisible, but function and feel just like traditional braces. Used mostly on older teenagers and adult patients who have cosmetic concerns, these braces let the natural tooth shade emanate, resulting in superb aesthetics.
Self-Ligating Braces
These are essentially brackets that do not require tieing (or ligating) the arch wire into the bracket with the tiny colored ‘o-ties’. Self-ligating braces have less friction, which allows teeth to move smoothly and efficiently along the arch wire, resulting in less office visits, less discomfort, and better hygiene.
